The most important stuff

  • What: A post-apocalypse semi-sandbox larp with immersive roleplay.
  • When: August 27th – August 30th 2026. You may arrive to build camp on the 26th. The larp ends in the evening of the 29th. You pack up and leave on the 30th.
  • Language: English only
  • Where: Bockaby, Borås
  • Who: 250+ players (min. 125 )
  • Age limit: 18 years
  • Sign up: opens in April. Buy your ticket first, fill out form later.
  • Ticket price: 1000 SEK for standard ticket, 1200 SEK for ticket including written character plots (limited to 20 tickets).

The facilities

  • Power: There is no permanent power network at Bockaby. We will set up a smaller, limited electrical grid for some ambient lighting available for parts of the area, but not for cooking or larger power needs. You are welcome to bring a power generator of your own.
  • Toilets: Portaloos. 
  • Water: Yes. Bring your own water containers. 
  • Vehicles: No vehicles in the ingame area.
  • Off larp parking outside the area.
  • Food: All participants are responsible for making their own food. There will be some food vendors at the larp, but make sure to arrange for your own meals regardless.
  • Accommodation: All larger groups are allotted room in a building or space in which they can build a camp. Ingame businesses are prioritised for space allocation. Players must bring their own sleeping gear, camp equipment, decorations and all the stuff to make their camp feel like home and fit the aesthetic. You can also choose to bring your own tent and make an awesome camp from scratch. You are welcome to sleep/camp outside the ingame area if you prefer to have an offgame camp.
  • Weather is unpredictable, and we might have very hot summer temperatures in daytime, yet nights can get down to around 10 degrees. Good and warm sleeping stuff will be your best friend!
  • The larp location has a policy that we can’t leave anything behind so what you bring to the site, you must also remove.

WHAT ABOUT AIRSOFT?

You can bring airsoft weapons to Outpost Elysium, but this larp isn’t about weapon action. The guns are there for looks, part of your costume and the whole ‘look badass’ thing.

You may bring your airsoft gun, but you MAY NOT bring ammo, gas or batteries for it.

Having guns but no ammo means you can’t shoot at people. We don’t use any simulation techniques, like pointing a weapon and shouting “Bang!” We don’t use nerf guns. There are ingame reasons why you can’t shoot in Elysium, whether that’s the rule of the outpost, or no one has ammo any more.

Finally, you don’t need a gun to have a blast, so if you are gunless, this larp is still for you.

  • Bockaby urban warfare training grounds.
  • Available by car.
  • No power network and no running water on site. Bring your own power generator + fuel, camp equipment and sleeping arrangements.
  • We will supply water, some firewood and some power generators for lighting.
  • Create your own experience, build a camp with your group identity.
