The visual aesthetic

In this space, we will describe the minimum levels of distress and visual aesthetic we expect at Outpost Elysium.

Distress mentors

At check-in, players will meet a crew member who will approve their gear and costume. We can call them distressing mentors. They are there to help those who find it difficult to reach the minimum requirements of costume distress.

It’s important that you understand that there is a level of visual distress requirement, and that it is important for the larp.

By not taking steps to fit into it, there is a real risk that we will ask you to alter your costume before you can play the larp. The same quality assurance applies for ingame camps.

Distressing station

If a costume is not approved, distress mentors will show the way to a distressing station, where there will be a possibility to fix costumes up to standard before the larp. Availability depending, they can also help.
