Building your awesome camp

The aesthetic of the larp is very important, and your camp must also fit with the visual guidelines.

There are enough buildings or partial structures to house a lot of people, but their state of ruin vary a lot. Your ingame space must look fit the larp, while also tending to your off game sleeping needs. This goes both for camps in a building and a camp outdoors.

It is particularly important for ingame businesses to build a space that has character and fits the aesthetic.

Larger groups will be given a specific area to live in, small groups or solo players will either share a solo space or make their camp in areas for smaller groups. Whether your camp is a hut made from sheet metal and pallets, or a hub of tents isn’t of great importance to us. However, your camp must look the part, so take care to make it look as worn and torn as the outfit you’re wearing.

In this document, you will find all the info you need about what we will supply, what you need to bring and some hot tips for sleeping.

The TL;DR version is:

  • We will provide portaloos, drinking water. You must bring your own containers to refill.
  • We will set up a smaller, limited electrical grid for some ambient lighting available for parts of the area. NOT to be used to hook up your cooking equipment, huge light show or other group related stuff.
  • We will supply some firewood for communal use.
  • You will bring anything you need outside of this. Your sleeping equipment, cooking equipment, camp life equipment and decor is your responsibility.
